Josephine Libero

Josephine Libero joins the NextGen program as a Cohort 4 fellow beginning in October 2026. She earned her Ph.D. in Radiochemistry from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, specializing in technetium-actinide materials science. Josephine has conducted research at ORNL, LANL, and LLNL, is an active collaborator with SRNL, and has built a strong record of publications and conference presentations.

The NextGen Nonproliferation Leadership Development Program is Funded by The Department of Energy's (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration's (NNSA) Office of Defense Nuclear Nonproliferation Research and Development (DNN-RD) as part of the Nonproliferation Stewardship Program (NSP).
