The advisory committee’s main objectives are as follows:

  • Identify high-impact, nonproliferation, workforce capability gaps that can be addressed by NextGen fellows.
  • Identify research areas pertinent to Nonproliferation Stewardship Program (NSP) initiatives.
  • Identify potential co-mentors from other Nonproliferation Stewardship Program (NSP) initiatives.
  • Offer support for the transition from postdoc to early career appointments at a DOE lab, plant or site.
