Emma Archer
Emma completed her B.S. in Chemistry at Truman State University in 2020. As an undergraduate, she conducted research in organic synthesis through Truman State University and inorganic synthesis through the REU program at Kansas State University and attended the Nuclear Chemistry Summer School at San Jose State University in 2019. She went on to complete her Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry under the advisement of Dr. Jenifer Shafer, where her research focused on investigating the metal-ligand interactions of f-elements with a variety of mixed nitrogen and oxygen donor ligands. After earning her Ph.D. in 2025, Emma joined the NextGen Program at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) as a Darleane C. Hoffman Postdoctoral Fellow, working under the guidance of Dr. Jennifer Wacker.
